Completion requirements
Attendance is a vital aspect of the course to ensure your success. Students will be expected to attend a minimum of 80% of classes to obtain their certificate.
The programme leads directly to the Apple App development with Swift Certified User Certification. The other 3 sections are evaluated through a portfolio of guided projects to test candidates’ skills as well as real-world industry projects. Successful completion of each module will be required to progress.
Internship
Candidates who successfully complete all requirements will be offered a summer internship at one of our partner company. Bahrain Polytechnic strives to always place students in an environment where they can learn from the industry mentor.
Pre-requisites and selection process
No previous programming experience is required but students are expected to be highly motivated with English language at level 5 minimum as all the material is in English. Access to a Mac computer is not required but is an advantage. All modules are designed to allow students to complete all the activities requiring a mac computer in class. In order to facilitate practical work and team activities, each cohort will be limited to 25 students. All applicants must submit a CV, a letter of motivation and create a video presenting a project idea. Candidates may be asked to be interviewed by the selection committee. Your letter of motivation (500 words maximum) should cover the following points:
